Introduction to Becoming a Public Water System Operator (Zoom) – For Grade VSS, D1, T1

Fridays, Oct. 2 – Nov. 4, 2020, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (No class on 10/09)

This is a 5 week live video Zoom course designed to introduce individuals with little or no previous drinking water experience in preparing for the Grade 1 Treatment and Distribution examination, as well as the Very Small System (VSS) examination. The course will cover the basics of math & chemistry; regulations; water treatment, water sampling, distribution system components and safety.

Time:  8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Location:  Remote Online with Zoom

• This remote online course has been approved by the Mass. Board of Certification of Drinking Water Operators.

• All participants must have access to a computer with a camera and microphone throughout the entire class.  (Computers without audio can connect to the audio via a telephone).  

You will receive a confirmation email approximately one week before the course to confirm your registration and give you log in instructions for the class. We will also schedule a Zoom practice session opportunity, 2 weeks before the Course starts so you can see how the format will work.
