Basic Drinking Water Treatment (Zoom) – For Grade T2

Tuesdays, Sept. 15 – Dec. 12, 2020, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (No class on 10/13)

This is a 12-week live video Zoom course. It is designed to provide the student with the general concepts of drinking water treatment operations.  Taking and passing this course is a pre-requisite for taking the Grade 2 Treatment examination.  Material covered includes hydrology, source waters, basic chemistry, treatment technologies, proper chemical application, regulations, laboratory analysis, equipment maintenance, safety, and administrative duties.

Location:  Remote Online with Zoom

• This remote online course has been approved by the Mass. Board of Certification of Drinking Water Operators.

• All participants must have access to a computer with a camera and microphone throughout the entire class.  (Computers without audio can connect to the audio via a telephone).  

You will receive a confirmation email approximately one week before the course to confirm your registration and give you log in instructions for the class. We will also schedule a Zoom practice session opportunity, 2 weeks before the Course starts so you can see how the format will work.
