If you are considering a meter modernization program, or just want to understand the technology and terminology of the recent advancements in water meters, then this half-day class is a must for you.  

Learning Objectives: 

  • To understand the terminology and differences of the various meters, and meter reading, technologies on the market today.
  • To evaluate the various technologies and determine what might work best for your utility.
  • To learn about the options regarding procurement and installation.
  • To review a case study and the lessons learned from a Massachusetts water utility that has implemented a water meter modernization program.

This course is approved for 3.0 TCHs (Training Contact Hours) for both Massachusetts and Rhode Island Water Operators
