Understanding Water System Hydraulics(Zoom)This training will provide attendees with an overview of how water moves throughout the distribution system and how it impacts flow, pressures and water quality. Basic information on pipes, tanks, pumps, friction loss, water demand and water quality will be presented. Attendees will learn about some of the typical distribution system scenarios that might arise and some helpful troubleshooting approaches. This is a half day course done remotely on Zoom. It is a valuable training for all new operators and a great refresher for the experienced operator.
