An Overview of Water Main Cleaning & Lining Methods(MWWA Course ID#: MWWA 22-010) This half day remote course will provide an overview of the various methods of cleaning and lining water mains. Valuable information regarding cost, logistical considerations and overall performance will be presented. Representatives from several utilities will also share their insight on projects that they have recently completed and their tips for a successful outcome.
Learning Objectives: •• Understand the various methods of performing cleaning and lining;•• Review the cost and logistical considerations when considering cleaning and lining projects; •• Discuss recent cleaning and lining projects and the important lessons learned. This course is approved for 2 TCHs (Training Contact Hours) for Massachusetts Water and Wastewater Operators. It will be taught using the Zoom platform. Participants will need to have a reliable highspeed internet connection and computer device with both video and audio capability.
