Virtual Roundtable:  Understanding the New Low Income Water Ratepayer Assistance Program

MWWA is pleased to host a virtual roundtable for water suppliers to learn more about the Department of Housing and Community Development's new Low Income Water Ratepayer Assistance Program.  This program was authorized by Congress to address concerns about low income ratepayers' ability to pay for these services during the COVID-19 pandemic.  During the Roundtable we will discuss the program components, what customers need to do to access the funding, vendor agreements, benefit amounts, and how utilities will receive funds.
