MWWA EDUCATION SEMINAR

XConn Control Device Refresher with Hands-On Demonstrations & Testing 

**New** MWWA Course ID #: 19-003

This course is intended for individuals that have a basic understanding of cross connections and the devices that are installed and tested as part of a cross connection control program.  The course will review device operating principals, correct installation and testing as well as an overview of MA regulations.  A discussion about new devices and installations encountered will also be included.  This course will also have a hands-on component utilizing the WATTS workshop where WATTS technical staff will assist students in proper testing procedures and device troubleshooting.

This class is limited to a maximum of 20 students so register soon to reserve your spot!

Learning Objectives:

  • Review device operating principals and proper installations and regulatory requirements
  • Discuss new devices/installations encountered by testers and how to address them.
  • Practice proper testing procedures and troubleshooting common problems.  

This course is approved for 5.0 TCHs (Training Contact Hours) for MA Water Operators as well as Rhode Island Water Operators.

ATTENDANCE & TCH POLICY: Participants must attend 90% of the program and complete a session evaluation form to be eligible for TCHs.  TCHs will be issued only when full payment is received.
