Treat & Meet - Acton Water District

Start Time:  4:00 PM

Join the  Emerging Water Professionals as we tour two of the Acton Water District's treatment plants. 

We will begin the tour at the Central Acton Water Treatment Plant which is a GreensandPlus plant with VOC removal.
We will then move to the North Acton Water Treatment Plant which is a UF Membrane plant with a temporary GAC Treatment system to remove  PFAS.

Following the tours, we will gather at the Outback Tap Shack at Kimball Farm for some light bites and drinks.  MWWA will provide the food, you will be on your own to purchase drinks.  

• MEET AT 4 PM AT THE TOUR STARTING LOCATION: Central Acton Water Treatment Plant, 8 Post Office Square, Acton, MA 01720 (follow the one way around the building for parking)

• 2ND PLANT TOUR: North Acton Water Treatment Plant 960 Main Street, Acton, MA 01720

• NETWORKING LOCATION: Kimball Farm's Outback Tap Shack, 400 Littleton Road (Rt. 110), Westford, MA 01886 MAP
