Advanced Drinking Water Treatment (Zoom) – For Grade T3 & T4

Wednesdays, Sept. 23 – Dec. 16, 2020, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (No class on 11/11 & 11/25)

This is an 11-week live video Zoom course. Taking and passing this course is a pre-requisite for taking the Grades 3 & 4 Treatment examinations. Operators will review various treatment technologies and learn to evaluate process control strategies. In-depth instruction will include: source water management, water chemistry, sampling and laboratory procedures, chemical addition, filter operation and performance criteria, instrumentation and controls, regulations, reporting, safety, and administrative duties.

• This remote online course has been approved by the Mass. Board of Certification of Drinking Water Operators.

• All participants must have access to a computer with a camera and microphone throughout the entire class.  (Computers without audio can connect to the audio via a telephone).  

You will receive a confirmation email approximately one week before the course to confirm your registration and give you log in instructions for the class. We will also schedule a Zoom practice session opportunity, 2 weeks before the Course starts so you can see how the format will work.
