Drinking Water Distribution (Zoom) – For Grades D2, D3 & D4

Mondays, Sept. 14 – Dec. 7, 2020, 1 – 4:30 PM (No class on 10/12)

This is a 12-week live video Zoom course. It is designed to introduce the concepts of drinking water distribution operations. Material covered includes source water concepts, basic math and chemistry, regulations, sampling, hydraulics, distribution system components, equipment operation and maintenance, safety, and administrative duties.  Taking and passing this course is a pre-requisite for taking the Grades D2, D3 or D4 examinations.

Time:  1:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Location:  Remote Online with Zoom

• This remote online course has been approved by the Mass. Board of Certification of Drinking Water Operators.

• All participants must have access to a computer with a camera and microphone throughout the entire class.  (Computers without audio can connect to the audio via a telephone).  

You will receive a confirmation email approximately one week before the course to confirm your registration and give you log in instructions for the class. We will also schedule a Zoom practice session opportunity, 2 weeks before the Course starts so you can see how the format will work.
