MWWA EDUCATION SEMINAR PFAS in MASS: Important Overview & Update for MA Public Water Systems Course ID # MWWA 20-002 On December 13, 2019 MassDEP released their draft regulations to create an MCL of 20 ppt for a total of 6 Per and Poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This seminar will provide attendees with an overview of the proposed MassDEP regulation. The session will also provide information about the sources of the contaminants, transport into drinking water systems, sampling and analysis, and options available for treatment. There will also be a case study of how the Town of Hudson is dealing with PFAS found in their water supply. This course is approved for 3.0 TCHs (Training Contact Hours) for MA Water Operators.
