Lead & Copper Rule Updates - Two Training SessionsMWWA Course IDs: MWWA 26-003, MWWA 26-004 The Lead and Copper Rule has undergone significant changes since it was first promulgated in 1991. The most recent updates are reflected in the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI). Both introduce important regulatory requirements and deadlines that all Public Water Systems must understand and comply with. This training is divided into two separate sessions, outlined below. Participants may register for one or both sessions (see registration links below). A third session is being planned for the fall that will focus on new sampling protocols and the requirements for schools/daycare facilities. The date for the third session is not yet set. Each session is approved for 1.5 Training Contact Hours (TCHs). Each session will be taught using the Zoom platform. Participants need to have a reliable high speed internet connection and a device that allows for both video and audio capability.
